Advice needed for the last 7 days of prep with TTP and/ or the OG

Question

Hello guys,

i have scheduled my second attempt at the GMAT for the 14. January 2021 with a target score of arround 680+. My first attempt wasnt too bad but nowhere close to where i want to be with 580 (counterintuitively i scored 31Q / 40V). At that point i was only finished with arround 35% of the quant topics so the score was only somewhat surprising. I have been preparing mainly with Target Test Prep for verbal and quant. 
Nearly done with everything verbal related, i will likely finish the quant program arround January 5th or 6th BUT by then i will have only completed about half of all chapter tests from Ch. 9 - Ch. 20 due to time constraints.
Long story short: For the remaining week before the test i am not sure wether to complete all chapter test and simultaneously work on theory with TTP or leave TTP and study by doing mostly OG questions.
I would appreciate your input and ideas regarding this and look forward to some answers!

At this time, you should be taking Mock Tests and polishing your test-taking strategies and timing strategies rather than still learning the material. That's the ideal state....

Thanks  bb  for the quick reply and for your guide. What I am now wondering is - should the refining part take place with TTP or from your experience is the OG better suited for review work? 
I hope to speed up a little and be done a little earlier, nonetheless it´ll be a bit crammed unfortunately..

I think preparing all the quant topics is important. One should not sideline the basics. If you have less time, it is better to postpone the exam by few days. Even if you start with OG right now, you will not be able to analyze your mistakes and work on your weak areas properly. If you can't postpone, just relax and practice each question carefully - learn from the questions itself. Don't ignore the verbal section and give few mocks too. 
I am also retaking GMAT. I can't give any expert advice but I hope this helps!

Hi! Unfortunately i don´t - yet. Haven´t really touched the OG questions so far as most of my prep was through the Target Test Prep course. For verbal I have nearly completed all OG questions - I am a lot more worried about Quant if I´m being honest tho. You would reccomend leaving the prep course and thoroughly working through the OG guide and tracking errors then?
