Hi all,
I will be taking my GMAT (for the first time) at the test center end of Feb or beginning of March and I am targeting a score above 700.
Since I am unaware about the full process, especially when it comes to the end part - accepting the score, sharing it to business schools, etc. so apologies in advance if my question seems trivial...
Once you are done with the 4 sections, you click "submit" or "end". Then, the score will appear. Here is my question:
- If below 700: I will re-take the GMAT for sure and I don't want this score to be seen by any schools
So I assume, I have to "decline" the score or something like that... and the schools won't see my score but just see that I took the GMAT on that day
Then I will retake the GMAT
- If above 700: I will "accept" the score and will share it with some schools
So I assume, I have to "accept" the score and select the schools I would like to share this score with
Is that correct?
I have also read in the forum that you have a bit of time (72 hours?) to change something (in case you change your mind)? What can we exactly do?
In general, for someone targeting a GMAT above 700, what would you do if you have a score below 700 and a score above 700?
Thanks for your answers!
