There is nothing to suggest it will not be valid.

Got it - that's helpful, thank you. So you believe schools will still accept this Online GMAT with no AWA in a few years?

If you are going to question this, you may as well also ask if your college diploma will be accepted, if we will be stilll using electricity in 3-4 years, and perhaps if the application will be in English. While nobody can guarantee that your college diploma will be accepted, the electricity will still be used, and English will still be the official language in the United States in 3-4 years, there are no indicators that these things will be obsolete or abandoned, just like the GMAT Online without an AWA - there are no indicators it won't be valid.

What makes you think it won't be accepted? What precedent are you considering or basing this on?

Thanks for your response! I was just wondering whether or not experts think that it would be valid. Apologies but I'm confused by your response. Are you suggesting that there are indicators that the Online GMAT with no AWA will not be valid in 3-4 years' time?

Did you mean to say that "there are no indicators it won't be valid"?

HI OCSC1290,

I'd find it pretty hard to believe that schools would all of a sudden stop accepting the "original" online GMAT because there is no AWA score. If there was a high liklihood of that happening, I don't think the online GMAT could have been offered in the first place. Thus, I'd enjoy your great GMAT score and not worry about all of this.

And if they really really really wanted to read Some polished writing of a stressed out test-taker, they could do a time to test their own just like they do interviews, the self initiated ones. So there’s no reason to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
