Is it just me or does this happen to you as well?

When I really focus on a problem, I perform much better. But the problem is my concentration comes in waves and for short spurts of maybe 20 minutes.

If it's anytime after 8pm, my brain and concentration just shut down. I practice some problem sets and just score miserably.

I'm at my peak during the morning, sometime around 10-11am, but I can't maintain my focus for more than about 10 questions.

Try and take the exam/practice qs/etc as if it is actually the real exam. Maybe set a goal for yourself too, say “I want to get at least 90% of these next 20 questions rightâ€

I have the same problem too!
It's really hard for me to stay focus on practices, and I have to take a nap in every two hours of study.
I'm so worried about limited time I have between now and the end of year, when I'm gonna take the test.
I don't know... it's realy frastrating!

I know timing is of utmost importance. But I think I'm going to try a strategy of attacking the questions in 10s, then taking a 10 second breather, stretch, blink, refocus then attack the next 10. What do you guys think?

Sounds good - but make sure you take everything seriously.

Don't think "Hey, I'm at question 7 - I'm almost done, then I get to stretch, blink, and refocus, that will be awesome". FOCUS ON THE QUESTIONS IN FRONT OF YOU!!!
