Hi-
I am taking the GMAT online, during which time (at the end) my roommate is likely to arrive home from work and walk through the room in which I plan to take the test. He would not be communicating with me in any way; just walk through.
Would this disqualify the test? If I notify the proctor of this in advance, will that help in any way?
I would definitely ask the proctor/notify them if you expect someone to appear on camera in the test or some other noise/disruption that may put your test into additional review. In general from the sanity and being able to focus fully on the test, perhaps there is something you can coordinate with your roommate or take a test at another place/location/hotel room?
In general, I think situations like these do not terminate/cancel your test since it is clear you are being interrupted.
