Hi all,
In 2019, I took
Manhattan prep's course which was great. I was very busy with work and life and studying for the gmat was very difficult (more than anything else ever before).
In 2020, after a stressful work situation, Covid and personal issues, I went to get mental health support for my difficulties and received a legitimate ADHD diagnosis. It was frustrating as I already hold a b.comm degree from Ted Rogers School of Management and I'm struggling with the GMAT. I also received a conditional acceptance into Ivey for their AMBA - given I get a simple 600 (my first/second year marks suck not to due to slacking). Compared to the PMP I finished, the GMAT is a whole different analytical beast.
When I returned to studying, it's been difficult and even have had a few headaches forcing to focus. With that said, I've also started on my medication plan which is gradually helping (and tons other resources). I recently reached out the Apex GMAT prep - which seems pricey, but apparently provides additional support/problem solving techniques applicable to my condition. I am hesitant to spend more money - but wanted to know if I can find any other resources or even training programs to help GMAT prep with my condition? Manhattan's material is great, but it feels still geared to "neurotypical" individuals. I think I can re-activate it if I pay $50 or something
I am aware of extra time, but haven't found much else on my searches here on the forums. Would love to score 660-700 in the coming months. Thanks in advance for any help!!
