NetherlandsBen
Hello everyone,
I scored 700 on the GMAT (Q47 / V38 / IR5 / AWA 6). I was a bit disappointing with the quant score, because I think I can reach Q49.
I come from a Western European university, ranked 100-120, from a business bachelor’s.
I’m targeting top master’s in management programs (LBS, HEC, ESSEC), do you think a retake is required?
Best,
Posted from my mobile deviceHi NetherlandsBen,
I understand your disappointment on not being able to secure your target score. Let me share my insights on this.
If you are considering a retake because you scored lower than you anticipated or your chosen B-school requires a higher score, it is perfectly okay to consider reappearing for the test. However, the B-schools evaluate your application not only on the basis of your GMAT score but also your profile. So, there are various important factors which need to be considered before taking the decision of retake of GMAT. Don’t take this decision in haste.
