So i have been prepping for about 3-4 with a full time job where I can practice for 4-5 hours for max 3-4 days a week. I gave a second mock test where i scored 650 but my target score is around 720. I wanted to appear for my first attempt in Aug itself but i dont feel I'm ready yet. Based on the info above, when should I ideally give my first attempt?

Hi Jajabor,
Let me share my insights on this.
It is always wise to appear when you are confident about you being fully prepared.
You should consider working on your weak areas and give a few more official mocks. Only when you mock scores are consistently around/above your target score, you are good to go.
It’s always better to spare some more time on your preparation until you are ready instead of missing out on your dream colleges/ b-schools in hurry.

To start, I do think you'll need to push your exam as you likely won't' be ready to score 720 this month. Regarding how long you may need, can you provide some more information on what you have been doing to prepare over the last 4 months? What resources did you use? How many hours a week have you been studying? Once I have all that information, I'd be happy to provide some advice. In the meantime, here is a helpful article:
