Hi All,
My mock scores have been fluctuating on official mocks (590-690). I have my gmat 15 days later.
My question is the real gmat quant and verbal both harder than the official mocks. Can you share your experience if you have already taken the gmat.

Yes Adaptive test are supposed to be harder as we progress when we choose correct choices. I have seen questions which may realistically require at least over 5 minutes to solve. Note, all test takers will find **difficulty at the same level** based on their preparation. You should plan to be consistent at medium level difficult questions to get a consistent score. You will be surprised in the real GMAT as none of the questions and contents you may have seen or heard earlier and it would all new and fresh, and be prepared for it, and don't panic. Same methodology & techniques you used before needs to be applied.

Hello, pdas146. I agree with what has been written above. Sure, certain questions may look unfamiliar in their presentation, but they still test the same concepts that you have seen hundreds of times over if you have combed through even one OG. Focus on the fundamentals and on getting your head in the right space so that you will be poised to succeed when you sit the exam, regardless of what it throws at you (hint: not theoretical physics formulas or RC passages from the 1700s).
