There is a new option available for people who gave their GMAT on or after October 20, 2021 that allows them to submit their GMAT score to up to 5 schools for free. After that, a $35 per school fee applies. My question is, since I won't be submitting my applications to these schools before April 2022, are schools able to refer to my score which I send them today for my application which I will submit later? Also, what happens when I retake the GMAT later? Do I get to select which score they can choose? Thanks.
Hi. Welcome to GMAT Club!
MBA programs should be able to locate and access your score later on, even a few years later.
However, If you share a score with MBA programs then it is irrevocable. If you are not happy with a score don’t share it (though it does not seem to matter all that much). They will not see your retake until you share that score as well….
Also, you will put a score on the application. That will be the score that will be used to evaluate you and you can choose which one to put in case you send in multiple ones.
