If u want earplugs, your test center will provide u them. Just ask them :).... So, u even do not need to bring them with u ;).

As u probably already know it, they are greatly usefull.... For instance, they eliminate 99% of others' keyboard noise. :)

Hi Fig,

I cannot avoid carrying my wallet and cell phone. So is that acceptable ? I hope I will be allowed to keep them in the locker ? What about some drink and eatables ?

Thanks.

I think that, by responding to u, it will give also some information to GoalTexasTech. :)

Well, the only personnal items that u can bring in the test room are your clothes. No watch can enter as well.

Concerning some foods and drinks, u have to leave them in the locker. During your breaks, it will be the occassion to eat or drink.

About the GSM, be really prudent. U cannot be seen calling. I suggest u to speak directly to some staff about it. Perhaps, they will keep your phone at another place. I know that, especially during the break, u should even not handle one :).

Wait a minute, you can't take your wallet in? What about your keys? or the little cloth thing to wipe your glasses with? This is borderline ridiculous.

I think this is very subjective and it depends on the test center. In my case, I was not allowed a wallet, nor my keys - they had to be stored in a locker.

The only thing I was allowed were:
1) Photo ID
2) Kleenex tissues
3) The locker key

You may want to check with your test center ahead of time about what is acceptable.

I just spoke with the protor at my test center, he said he will perform a 5 minute strip search, including all body cavities, before letting me in.
