Thanks everyone for your support and response on this.

How should I even approach Quants from scratch given I have lost touch with it since a long long time.

Should I finish off one topic and do some questions from the OG and 500+ level questions and move on to the next topics post which at a go I can practice all the topics or how exactly should I go about it ?

Hi shubhz4488,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Dear shubhz4488,
if you are good at self-studying then reading the Manhattan guides is preferable option. In other case, you can take the online course. There are abundance of platforms that provide quant and verbal course, and reviews most of them are presented here. I would suggest to take TTP course because its well-structured study plan and unique approach already have helped me to ameliorate my Quant score. You can take its diagnostic test to check where you are.

Hi guys,

I am relatively weak at quants however, want to achieve the score of 700+.

I am able to understand the concepts however, when it comes to do the questions I falter.

Kindly let me know how to go about it.

One thing that can be helpful is trying to figure out shorter ways to solve questions. There are some video Quant tips on the GMAT Knight blog showing this. When you review questions, see whether you can leverage the answer choices to back-solve. Perhaps you can easily estimate your way to an answer choice rather than figure out the exact value of the answer which could be more tedious.
