hi
I'm facing a lot of problems in topics like geometry, permutation, and combination and probability. and in the medium-level questions of absolute values and modulus. My gmat target score is 650 to 680. so I just want to know that if I am able to solve easy to medium-level questions on these topics so will I be able to get a good score in quant in other topics I'm good at solving medium-level questions.

A positive sign that you'll hit 650-680 is if you do so on two consecutive Official Mocks.

Earlier this year, you posted that you were planning to take the GMAT at the end of February; did you end up taking the Exam as planned (and if you did, then how did you score - including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores?)?

There are a variety of different Quant and Verbal Scaled Score 'combinations' that can to a 650+, so you do not necessarily need to perform at a really high level in the Quant section to earn that type of Score. That having been said, it's not clear what you view as a 'good' Quant Scaled Score, so we should take a closer look at how you've been scoring on your CATs/mocks to determine the various areas that you need to work on (as it might include items that you have not listed). By extension, before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

hi
at that time I was not able to give gmat but right now I'm somewhat more confident to give the gmat I study around 6 to 7 hours a day and studying for the past 2 months at this same pace only and right now I'm using magoosh's vides lecture and gmat club cats. In my last mock, I scored 580. and I want to apply in r1 deadlines for french b schools for the mim program. such as essec,escp,edhec, etc

Hi samarth1222,

Rather than taking a risk on your GMAT, do you think you can use different prep materials, so you can better master those topics?
