Technical Issue on GMAT In-Person Exam

Question

I took the GMAT on 7/24/22 and achieved my target score. However during the quantitative section a question came up that was referring to a data set that wouldn't appear on the screen. My exam proctor filed a report for me but I'm worried that they might cancel my score.

Hi amotey,

For GMAC to 'cancel' your Official results, some sort of significant event would have had to occur to imply that YOU had cheated in some way. This particular abnormality is a technical issue that did not appear to benefit you in any way (if anything, it may have cost you some points) - so it's incredibly unlikely that this result will be disqualified. With each of these types of situations, an 'investigation' has to occur - and that process can sometimes take up to several weeks (if not longer) to be completed, meaning that you might not hear back about all of this for a little while.

Hi, i faced this issue too but my concern lies on actually having a chance to cancel the score and retaking the exam on a clean slate actually. Did GMAC reply you on this?
