Hi Pooja,

To clarify, which forum did you post in (was it the Quant forum - or more specifically, in the PS or DS sub-forums?)? If it was a full GMAT practice question (along with the correct answer), then there's a good chance that that question has already been posted - meaning that you can 'google' it to read through the existing discussion on that prompt and add your personal commentary/questions/approach. If you were referring to a question that you saw while taking the OFFICIAL GMAT, then that is NOT allowed (and would explain why the post was deleted).

Beyond this situation, how have your overall studies been going? How have you been scoring on your practice CATs/mocks and what is your overall Goal Score?

I have posted it in the quant forum in the PS sub-forum. And, it was an unofficial Gmat ques.
As far as my Gmat prep is concerned, I have enrolled in an online prep course and haven't taken any mock yet. My target Gmat score is 760.

Hi Pooja,

From your posting history, it appears that you've put in some study time already, so it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can access 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). That score will give us a good sense of your current strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have that Score, you should report back here (or you can feel free to PM me directly) and we can discuss your results.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
2) Going forward, how many hours do you think you can consistently study each week?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Thanks for your concern, Rich! Once, I finish my whole course, I would attempt one of the practice tests from mba.com in order to diagnose my performance. But in the mid of the preparation, I don't want to. As far as my timeline and goals are concerned:

1 I am planning to take the test most probably in the month of January.
2 I usually study 18 to 20 hrs in a week.
3 I am planning to apply to B-schools in Round 1 and want to apply to US B-schools like Foster, NYU, Cornell Johnson, MIT Sloan & UCLA.

Thanks,
Pooja
