Hi,
How much accuracy is required in the verbal and quant sections to get a 790? Is it 90% in 500 to 600-level questions and 60% in 700-level questions, or something else?
Please help

I love the attitude but I wouldn’t wish this on you.

1. This is a fairly futile goal. Maybe it will be worth it for her YouTube video and you can get rich but for the missions and the score of 99th percentile will be considered very high

2. You could only make like one mistake really… maybe two at the most.

3. Better to focus on your job performance and learning about business schools and then trying to improve from 750 to 790 for example.

4. By the way, probably only a couple hundred people per year get 790. This means really really smart people with really really thick glasses who don’t see the sunlight and spend all day long studying and absorbing. Most of them are probably not the ideal candidates with strong careers and listen and probably not what you would call an average applicant even for a top 10 program. you were trying to do better than 100,000 other people basically. Since the study materials are kind of the same for everyone, it’s whatever course you pick and other people have access to the same courses so it all really depends on you and luck ….

Hi Rishi108,

I'm also wondering. Why are you shooting for 790?

The reason for going for 790 is that I scored a 700 on the Sigma-x mock, which displayed my accuracy in it. So, I was just curious about the accuracy required to get a 790. Actually, my target score is 770😅
