I appeared for my exam last week and the next day I received an email saying that my score has been flagged for administrative review. I received an email 5 days later saying that after analysing, GMAC has found irregularities which are inconsistent with the GMAT policies. They have further banned me from appearing for an online exam again and now I can only retake the exam at an exam centre and will have to bear the expenses for the same.
I have filed an appeal stating that the proctor did not even once raise any issue during my exam and my exam went smoothly.I was preparing for the exam since 2021!
What should I do now? Application deadlines are in a month. Help! I'm desperate!
Posted from my mobile deviceWait a minute, first of given that this is your only post on the forum, your credibility is already in question so I may really not trust your words here but even so, if there is a 1% chance that this is legitimate-
1. The proctor cannot interrupt your exam because a student can file for disturbance so they hold on till you have finished.
2. GMAT policies- You need to ask what policies were you not in compliance with. If you don't know, you won't be able to fix it. But if you know, you may be able to challenge it with legitimate reasons.
3. Lawsuit threat- If you did nothing wrong and they have illegitimate reason for your compliance which could have been addressed prior to the test, you have a reason to file a lawsuit and get your score.
4. Opportunity cost- Your deadlines are in a month, you got to make it happen within that time frame and you need to "call" the GMAC about the issue and convey the timeline, and in the meantime start applying to business schools.
Did you know with 770 GMAT you stand a strong chance at our top 10 or nothing challenge?
