Good morning,
I took the GMAT last week, and I was pretty dissapointed with my score. Before the test I had only spent three weeks formally studying for the test using the GMAT OG 11th and the Kaplan book. I need to increase my score by 150 points and I am planning on taking within the next month.
My major areas for improvements are: RC, and Data sufficiency in Quant.
I am looking forward to your reponses.
Thanks, JL
One short note: 1 month or less seems to be not enought to improve 150 points. I'd be careful with re-scheduling until you are confortably getting your target score (+20/30 points) in practice tests (GMATprep is a good predictor of actual scores).
Taking GMAT several times does not have a neutral effect: even when schools consider only your highest scores, they do look at all scores.
So: 550 700
is much better than: 550 560 700
or any other progression of more than 2 scores.
Hope it helps. L.
