Hi Stamp,

Many GMATers find at least some aspect of the Exam to be challenging - so you are not alone. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. That having been said, based on your 2 Official Scores, you will have to make significant improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections - and that training will take time. You will likely need more than another 2 months of consistent, guided study before you will be able to consistently score 700+.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) On what dates did you take your 2 Official GMATs?
2) What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

From your initial post, it sounds as though you purchased the ESR for one or both of your attempts. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchased the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you. Before you can include attachments with your posts/PMs, you need to have at least 5 posts in the forums (right now, you have just 1 post). If you would rather not go through those extra posting steps at this point, then you can feel free to email me directly (at [email protected]).
