Hello everyone,
I recently took the test and got a 500 score (37Q 28V). I am aiming to take the test again in June 2007. I took the test knowing that I still had lots of improvement to do, and did not put much time into studying for it.
I have decided to start all over again with the basics, and have gathered great information about the way to do it from people who went from 500 to 700+. However, I have not seen any specific study plans.
I have decided to put 90 to 120 minutes on weekdays and 3-4 hours on weekends, I have also started using an error log. However I still feel lost and I miss the type of structure that a course would provide, like some sort of curriculum

Is there any recommended order that I should follow to study the subjects for the test? How often should I take practice tests? How should I split my time?
I have the following studying materials:
- OG 11
- OG Quant and Verbal
- Manhattan Prep (SC & RC, Equations, Word translations)
- Gmat 800
- Kaplan 2007

I would go in this order:
Kaplan 2007
OG
OG Supplements
GMAT 800
Manhattan Prep
Make sure to get the strategies you want to use down while using the Kaplan book, then you will be using them properly as you get through the OG.
Create an error log, not only for errors, but also for questions that you took a long time with, want to study more. You will be able to see these questions as you continue to study. Review this error log very regularly and make sure you are addressing any patterns in questions types that are appearing.
I am not really taking practice tests until the end, but if you want to know how you are doing, split them up and space them evenly throughout your studying.

You might think about a prep course, actually. Give it some time with self-prep since you didn't do much for the first take, but keep that in mind as an option.
