Hi all! I am wondering about the 16 day retake policy because the wording is confusing me.
I took the GMAT (in person) on 12/28/23. Can I retake the GMAT ON the 16th day from 12/28 or does the actual test day not count towards the 16 day waiting period? In other words, can I schedule a test on 1/13 (exactly 16 days from 12/28) or do I have to wait till 1/14 (16 days from ?
The reason I am unable to just attempt to schedule on the website to find out is because I have another attempt scheduled for 1/27/24 (in person). I do NOT want to reschedule that test (with fee) only to find out that I cannot take the test on 1/13.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The instructions is that you must wait for 16 days. So 16 days have to pass. You add 16 to your date and that will be 16 days. 28+16 = 44-31. This means Jan 13. You can be safe and schedule for Jan 14… should work. You can then take it one more time on the 30th.
The system should prevent you from scheduling tests before you are able to.
The easiest way for you to find out is to go and try to schedule a test. It will not allow you to schedule it sooner than you’re allowed to take it….
Also, this only applies to GMAT classic or GMAT focus test independent of each other so you can take one of those one day apart as long as it’s one as a focus and the other one is a classic. Hope I did not confuse you here.
