Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out for some guidance regarding my recent GMAT practice test results, which have been less than encouraging despite my best efforts.
Here's my score history:
- Test 1 (Feb 9th): 505 (Q 78, V 77, DI 70)
- Test 2 (Feb 15th): 525 (Q 74, V 79, DI 75)
- Test 3 (Feb 22nd): 555 (Q 80, V 78, DI 75) (Section order- Q-DI-V)
- Test 4 (Feb 27th): 565 (Q 78, V 81, DI 75) (Section order- V-DI-Q)
- Test 5 (March 3rd): 535 (Q 74, V 77, DI 78) (Section order- V-DI-Q)
I finally managed to increase my DI score but unfortunately it seems I had to sacrifice my other sections for that. I'm disappointed to report that my overall score dropped significantly in my latest practice test.
What I did differently on the 4 days leading up to my last practice test was devote sections to each day: Quants only, Data Insights only, Verbal only, and all 3 on the last day. I'm guessing that played a part in the score decrease?
Also, I tried a new timing strategy (the one with the time stamps)... I guess that didn't really work. Maybe a little bit of a boost for DI but not so much the others. It seems to have worsened my accuracy and done close to nothing to my time management.
I'm feeling a bit lost and uncertain about how to proceed. My goal is to achieve a score of 655 on the actual test later this month, but it feels like I'm hitting a roadblock.
Any advice, tips, or suggestions from the community on maximizing performance and time management on the GMAT would be greatly appreciated. Whether it's refining study strategies or insights on effective timing approaches, I'm open to any guidance based on your experiences.
Thank you for your support and input.
