How does the gmat focus scoring algorithm work?

Question

I got 19 of 21 right in the quant section and the 2 even at the last and i still got a very low score. What can be the reason for this?
(I completed the section with 14 minutes remaining so naturally i thought i did pretty good)

A possible reason can be the questions, which you marked wrong were easy level or it could be because of a low Verbal Score. I recently gave the exam I had 5 incorrect and ended with a Q83 ( 1 was easy , 1 was medium , 3 were hard) and 5 incorrect in DI still a DI78, so it is kind of unpredictable. Did you change any of your quant answer?
