- Use detailed error log on excel/google sheets with reasons of your mistakes, learnings
- never make same mistake twice.
- sometimes you might get a question right but equally imp to see that if there are better ways to solve it in quant - look at gmat club for all answers
- use unofficial mocks like GMAT club before you exhaust final mocks
- be careful on first exhausting Official material for all topics before moving to any other source. OG of as many years as you can.
- evaluate if recurring mistakes are on not knowing concepts or visualisation or translating or execution and depending on that you can go ahead with prep company or coach if additionally required.
- Great to have a general idea on theory of different quant topics so no concept is left behind

First Mock test was 350, a disaster
Hi every one
hope you are enjoying your day, Since I started mine with an insufficient GMAT score in the mock test.
I consider myself quite clever, however the test result disagree, but this was my first attempt, with 0 hours of study and just after a quiz with 10 questions. So I strongly think that this 350 score, doesn't belong to me. I really need 700+ and I just have 2 months from now.

Do you have any better suggestions?

You can't get 350 or 700 anymore. These scores do not exist. How did you get a 350?

Hi Matt1the2Man,

Here is some advice on how to move forward.

Since you scored 350, it's clear you need to learn the GMAT quant and verbal from the ground up. Thus, follow a prep strategy of topical learning and practice approach.

For instance, let's consider your study of Number Properties. First, immerse yourself in all aspects of this topic, and then, focus solely on Number Property questions. After each problem set, take the time to delve into your incorrect answers. This self-reflection is a powerful tool that allows you to understand your learning process and make significant improvements. For instance, if you made a mistake in a remainder question, ask yourself why. Was it a careless error? Did you not apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that you didn't grasp?

By meticulously analyzing your mistakes, you will efficiently address your weaknesses and, consequently, enhance your GMAT quant skills. This process has been unequivocally proven to be effective. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all Quant, Verbal, and DI topics.
