Hi everyone,
I’m planning to take my GMAT in the following order: Verbal – Break – DI – Quant. I’d like to use my notepad to set up gridlines, note benchmark timings, and write "a b c d e" for the Verbal section. I’ll need to do this prep for both Verbal and DI, but not for Quant.
Is it possible to complete this notepad setup before starting the Verbal section and continue using the same notepad after the break for DI? How much time is available before the first section for such preparation?
Also, is it feasible to use the time allocated for reading general GMAT instructions to set up my notepad? How much time is given for those instructions?

Hi vic231,
You get 2 minutes to go through the initial instructions screen before the first section.
Just keep in mind that technically, you aren't supposed to use your noteboard at any point outside the 3 adaptive sections. If you still want to risk it, check with the proctor before you go ahead.
