Hello everyone,
I've recently practiced a few mock tests, and I’m seeking advice on the ideal strategy for tackling the GMAT. Should we focus on being quick, or is it better to approach questions more calmly and carefully?
In the Verbal section, I experimented with both strategies. When I rushed through the questions, my results weren’t as strong. However, when I took my time to read each question carefully, I saw better results.
On the other hand, when I applied the calm strategy to the DI section, I struggled to finish on time and ended up with a lower score compared to when I used a quicker approach.
I haven’t tried the calm strategy in the Quant section yet. I usually solve those questions quickly, but occasionally I misread and get one wrong. I’m wondering if a more careful approach would help.
What do you think is the best overall strategy? Any advice on how I can optimize my approach for each section would be greatly appreciated!
