Hi all,
It has been 8 months now of leaving my job and studying for the gmat (almost) daily (full time- started with 5 hrs, moved to 8 hrs and now planinng to go full throttle 14 hrs). And with time my abilities have gone down (585 to 565). I was preparing using egmat portal, but I wasnt able to follow the psp, hence the long time, also I didnt really like the advise my mentor there gave me, as in my case I felt it was counter productive. I have been always a decent student and practice has been the only way forward for me. I have been consistent in prep though bad at revising. I am thinking to change my strategy now. I am thinking about including daily revisions of what all I covered.
Based on numerous forums/discussions I have realised, I should go with a more structured appproach. Work on SWOT and move on accordingly.
Hence for VR,
I am going to solve only official questions. As I have seen a lot of inconsistencies in question otherwise. I have heard GMAT club can be an effective was using forum questions, can anybody please tell me how to access these questions and the recommended path forward, especially with how to select.
Planning to practice ~20 ques CR daily and 5 RC sets. Will review the
error log once at the end of the day. Honestly, at this point only brute force seems as the only way forward.
For QR, (I suck in time envt, even at homes, just after a mock I am able to get 50% of my incorrect attempts correct)
I am planning to solve GMAT Club Maths Workbook (the whole book), go in details of concepts (apart from the book ), and practice questions wherever I find myself lacking (weak areas). After this will follow up with
gmat club tests.
For DI,
I am planning to solve the DI review 2024-25 and solve question from GMAT Club (please suggest ways to access these question and how to selct these, its a little overwhelming to chose from the options)
Any further guidance to improve on this and get the proper selections of questions would be much appreciated! I have already burned a good part of my savings, so also trying to save cost now.
Thank you for reading through this

I hope you have a great day ahead.
