Hi Experts,
I need help to select the right order of sections on test day.
Here are my apprehensions:
1. Data insights is toughest and lowest scoring for me. If i choose it as the last section i lose all stamina. However if i choose it first i risk losing all confidence on other sections by performing poorly. Data insights is also an unpredictable section - you might come across topics that you have not/can not practiced before so psychologically the outcomes see more difficult to control. Extremely tedious on time mgmt. front, leaving around last 3-4 ques on guess and facing issues with MSR at times. Data insights is something I am intrinsically uncomfortable with as the language sometimes feel tricky and it is not my natural interest and tend to make a lot of silly mistakes even in Q/s I might know of basis fear. I tried giving two unofficial mocks with data insights as first section and in one mock my whole score increased but in the second mock as I wasn't able to answer 3-4 questions initially i panicked and stopped exam.
2. I have practiced PS well - i am still polishing if any concept is remaining so unless its a really tricky Q - i may not go conceptually wrong except 1 Q. Max mistakes here are clustered on silly mistakes - noting the wrong number, choosing the wrong option, calculation mistakes. Attempting this first is advantageous cause i have practiced plenty in this so there is some psychologically safety/comfort in the predictability in Q/s. Time mgmt. varies between 0-2-5 min left after attempting all questions.
3. Verbal - i feel i have done good job on concepts and usually avg around 3-4 mistakes which i want to further reduce. However if a tough RC passage or really difficult CR problem comes it can reduce my morale. My time management on Verbal has been v good - leaving around 8 min after attempting all questions.
So far I thought of PS - Data - Verbal or PS - Verbal - Data
Some people say there is also intersectional dependencies - if I do PS Well as first section can the next be challenging? Others have also said that data insights is the most forgiving one in terms of score - mistakes. So can push it to last.
This is basis doing unofficial mocks. I will be doing official mocks so will have another update but would love to hear the answers so far.
