Hi everyone!
I recently got a GMAT score with me. I plan to retake the GMAT on Dec 5th, while most application deadlines are from the 6-9th. If I don't get the official score report by the deadline, can I send the official score after the deadline, provided that I fill in the correct scores in the application during submission?
Also, suppose I send my current official score to a particular school, whose deadline is Dec 5th. I am taking the test on the same day, and I score better, but the official report isn't available until a day later. Can I still update my new scores in my application, submit it and then later send the official score report when I have them?

Some schools do allow you to use an official score as a placeholder and then send an official score after the deadline; however, the best move is to reach out to the folks in admissions to see whether they will allow this.
