Hi,
If you are asking about the "Round 0" games, I personally don't feel prepping through GMAT is the best use of time. There are quite some other online resources that would specifically help you prep for the games.
Now, there are certain fundamental GMAT skills that could be relevant to the case interview. Still, doing the whole GMAT prep would not be time-efficient. There are many materials in GMAT that are just irrelevant.
What you can potentially do, when you start prepping for casing, is to primarily use some good case books, but supplement your prep with certain relevant question types in GMAT, for example, arithmetic, estimation, chart reading, table analysis, etc.

how do you recommend to use GMAT for study to Bain/BCG exams?
