Chat GPT for verbal scction?

Hi, for the verbal section, can anyone here share their experience of using ChatGpt to help study for the verbal section. I have been using it for a few weeks and have found it useful but I’ve noticed that sometimes even ChatGpt gets confused and can give wrong information! Hence, asking. Thanks

GMAT Verbal questions are too intricate and complex and ChatGPT has not got enough maturity to solve properly. I would strongly advise you to use ChatGPT for preparation. For one thing, the options in GMAT Verbal questions are too close and ChatGPT will not be able to discriminate between options.

You can use ChatGPT very well for Quant, but for Verbal, DONT USE IT !

It is great for easy and medium but sometimes gets lost in the hard ones (most of the time) - I have noticed that the paid models are better 😂

The GMAT verbal is bit nuanced and it's better to have a trained coach or a reputed course/book instead of relying on ChatGPT explanations. But for Quant, it's very helpful especially for the easy and medium problems, for the hard problems, sometimes it gives convoluted and sub-optimal way to solve the problem. Having a coach or a course and reading the explanations of experts in GMATClub for questions will be much more helpful in my opinion.

Ultimately, ChatGPT (like all LLM models) is aggregating solutions and blending them into a recommended approach. Definitely works for easy to medium quant questions (which tend to be more about math concept fundamentals).

But what makes it less useful at the harder question level is how GMAT questions get harder - it's more about reasoning approach that harder concepts.
