Surprising as it is, I've never in my life had a consistent study partner. Even in college, I studied for exams by myself.
So now, I've found someone that's planning to take the GMAT in June (I'm taking in August). What's the best way to abuse....er, utilize him? Or at least study partners in general?
I only met him last week though we have same friends. He comes from i-banking background so I plan to use his knowledge of math...one area I am sorely lacking in.
We're planning to meet at Barnes and Noble tonight for a 4 hour jam session (5-10pm).
Of course some things I know are:
- push each other in actually studying, not slacking
- asking questions
Any other ideas?

- First try ot figure out your and his areas of weakness and strength and then make a plan to take advantage of each other.
- Explain answers to each others in case either one of you don't understand the question.
- Start by conversing about why you both are looking for an MBA and how you think you can nail the GMAT.
- Share test taking and studying strategies and thoughts
- Cover concepts together for a period and then do practice questions separetely for another period and then come back to errors you both made and learn the answer.
