Hey y'all,
Initially I wanted to write a debrief detailing my score, but well...
I wrote the GMAT FE at home last week. Scored 745, if my eyes were not tricking me (needless to say, I was happy).
My exam is under security review. Is there anyway to speed up the review process? Background is that I have to submit many applications by start of January, including letters of recommendation, but in some application portals I am not able to request the letter of recommendation before submitting the entire application, for which I obviously need my score...
Bit of a tricky situation. I did not do anything wrong in the exam itself though, no cheating ofc. The only thing I can remember that was out the ordinary is that I hit the key on the macbook keyboard that brings up the emojis. Served no purpose, obviously, so I dont imagine that will be the cause...

Congratulations on the amazing score, Mattis!
A few thoughts:
- Usually, these reviews are just a formality, and only a small percentage of scores are ultimately canceled. More on that in this video on why scores get canceled, which is based on a pile of conversations with GMAC's test security executives. Obviously, it's possible that they cancel your score for some reason, but in most cases, these security reviews are cleared up within a few days.
- Schools will sometimes accept unofficial scores at the application deadline, as long as the official score report eventually gets to them. You might want to reach out to your target programs to see what their policy is on this -- hopefully it's possible to submit what you remember so that you can get your recommendations rolling. Just explain your situation to your target schools, and see what they say.
- If you really got a 745, you're a badass.
So don't lose too much sleep over this -- most of the time, everything is cleared up pretty quickly.
Please keep us posted, Mattis! And even if you have to retake, you're obviously capable of an elite performance again -- so hopefully, this won't really get in your way, one way or another.

Hey! Amazing job with 745 - I think definitely would love to hear the Debrief!!!
P.S. Don't think it is possible to expedite it and sorry about it - it is getting somewhat silly with the adcom wanting scores before they allow application submission or LOR's. I wonder if the influx of applications with App Fee Waviers is driving this. This is a new trend....
