Most of the prep courses like TTP, egmat, magoosh... give 4-7 days free trails. You can take the trails and see which one works best for you and goes with your budget

I would look for a course that is comprehensive enough that you are not constantly having to supplement it with other resources.

A cheaper course can become expensive very quickly if you later realize that you still need separate Quant instruction, DI help, Verbal material, additional question banks, or tutoring.

So, when comparing courses, I would look closely at:

* How deeply the course teaches the underlying concepts
* Whether Quant, Verbal, and DI are all covered comprehensively
* How much topic-by-topic practice you get
* Whether the course provides a structured study plan rather than just a collection of videos and questions
* The quality of the explanations and strategies
* How much support you receive when you get stuck

Of course, I’m biased, but I would encourage you to take a look at Target Test Prep. We built TTP specifically to be a comprehensive GMAT preparation system, so students can learn the concepts, develop the necessary skills and strategies, and get extensive practice all in one place.

My suggestion would be to try a few courses before paying for anything substantial. Spend some time actually working through the lessons and practice questions. You should be able to tell fairly quickly whether the course is teaching you in a way that makes difficult GMAT material feel more understandable.

The goal should not necessarily be to find the cheapest course. It should be to find the course that gives you the most effective preparation for the money you spend.
