if compare question that come in exam , then which section ,algebra arithmetic ,number ,stats, have most and least priority, i completed mid level of each , for hard level que from which section their are more chance to come , and also do co ordinate geo still relevant
Hi gmataccount123,
In terms of the pure math topics you've listed, arithmetic and algebra are the most important, followed closely by statistics, with number properties less important though still significant. Coordinate geometry is still relevant, but not too common, and most coordinate geometry problems are really about algebra or reasoning. Hard level questions tend to include more of the special math topics like overlapping sets, weighted averages, work / rate, combinatorics, and probability.
Of course, the test is about more than pure math knowledge, even on the Quant section. Make sure you're also working on strategic methods to solve questions, which includes deductive reasoning as well as alternate strategies like picking numbers, backsolving, and estimation.
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
