I downloaded some of these expired GMAT paper tests from MBA.com, they are the ones made by ETS. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these, and whether anyone knows if they are a good source of practice material.
If so could you help me answer these questions:
1.) Timing - I know that these tests can't be compared to CAT tests but the timing structure is very strange. For example they give you 25 minutes to complete 18 RC questions, that's 1min 22sec per question including reading, I struggled to get through these sections on time and it kinda through me off my pacing for the real CAT. So when I took the test I gave myself more time to complete each section i.e instead of 1min 22sec I gave myself 2 min/question. Any commments on this?
2.) each tests is structured differently, for example one test will have more SC questions and another test will have more PS questions, so I found that I was scoring 620 on the one test (with less SC) and 570 on the ones with more SC. Anyone else find the same problem?
3.) Is this how GMAT tests were done before GMAT CAT tests?
4.) any other comments or experience with these test? I'm not sure if I'm utilizing my time very well by doing them?
Thanks a lot, and good luck to all of you who are preparing for this BEAST.
