Dear Friends,
I need a piece of advise from you experts.
I have setup a target of taking the GMAT in 2.5 months from now and just started the preparation. While going through the forum, I could sense the necessity of taking various CATs several times. I am facing a challenge in the sense, unless I complete all the topics once, it will really not make any sense of taking the CAT again & again.
In this case, what should be the best & optimum strategy for studying the various topics and start taking the CATs (means after what duration, I should start taking the CAT fully so that I would have done enough before I take the real exam, Pls note : I have already taken a diagnostic test before I started the preparation).
Any comments will really help me in deciding my strategy.

I studied for about a month then took the GMAT. This is what I did:
Went through the OG 11th twice.
Went through the two supplements from the same company(for the verbal and quant. part)
Downloaded the practice tests from mba.com and did a total of like 5.
Took my GMAT and got a 770.
Make sure you understand your mistakes.
If you have major weaknesses in a section then buy another guide and practice some more. For example, I heard that Manhattan SC was really good for sentence correction.
Learn to pay attention because the questions are sometimes a bit tricky and they don't ask what you think they're asking.
Not all CATs are good. I heard Kaplan was ****.
