I'm going through Princeton's and Kaplan's prep guides right now. I wanted to know if the test questions, (at the end of the lessons), are the same as the ones found on the CD ROM? If they are the same, or there are some repeats, I may just do the CD ROM questions and avoid going through the ones in the book so that my score wouldn't be affected.
I posted this message a while ago, but haven't received any replies...can someone pls tell me if the questions in the book are identical to the ones on the CD?
Hey LS2005, I don't you to feel neglected . As far as I remember for PR and Kaplan, there are some questions that do repeat in the CD-CAT. However, the question bank in the CD-ROM is much larger than that of the prep-guide. Therefore, it is not a problem to go through the prep-guide before doing the CD-ROM as opposed to the OG where you are better saving the book for after doing the CD-ROM.
Paul, thx your reply. I was beginning to think was there sth wrong with the question...or is it hard to answer. Coz re OG, I've heard ppl say do PP b4 going through the book coz some questions are repeated. I thought, if that was the case with Kaplan/Princeton too..then I'll follow that sortoff strategy too.
The exercises in Kaplan's book are different from those on the CD. However, the test that is at the end of Kaplan is on CD. That was back in 2003 edition. As far as I remember, there are not that many questions in the book. The CD has 4 tests and a large number of lessons and quizzes on many topics, though the lessons are not too comprehensive - the book is much better.
