Hi Guys,
This is November 2009. Slowly & steadily I am preparing for the GMAT with no test date decided yet. With kids & the job, I started this real effort in August 2009 after joining GMAT Club. Almost completed the verbal guides of MGMAT and now starting quantitative part. My target test date & score is Feb 2010 & 700 respectively.
Now one thing is bothering me. I will be 30 in July next year with a 6 year professional experience, means if I take the test in Feb, then will take IELTS (being a non-native English) provided the GMAT target is achieved. I will have no time for R4. The only option will be to apply in R1 next year (for Sep 2011 entry). (I am looking for European schools).
Will at that time my age (31) will be a bad factor for me???
Should I hurry in my preparation in a couple of months, and try to apply in R4 next year for Sep 2010 entry?? I know I cant complete my study with satisfaction in next two months.
Your suggestions are required!!!

While schools are accepting younger students, do not let this worry you. The core people who have the experience and results for success are still by and large people with 4+ years of experience. Someone with two years has yet to really get his/her feet wet in the "real world". Of course, there are exceptions to this, but by and large, the most experienced people still bring the expertise needed for success.
I wouldn't worry about being 30 or 31. If you feel you can prep properly and get apps out for R4, go for it. If not, don't let the stress burn you out. Focus on R1 for 2011.
