So I studied for the GMAT at the beginning of the year for about 3 or 4 months, but only scored a 590 on the test. I didn't get accepted into any schools, so now I'm taking it again at the end of the year, meaning I now have roughly 2 months to study for this test. I'm planning this because if I don't score well enough this time, then I'll still have more time to try again.
I wanted some advice on how I should structure my study schedule. Right now, I work a 7-4 M-F job, so I won't have time to study 24/7. Please give me some advice on how I can maximize my efforts and be as efficient as possible with my time.

First of all, get the right material, I mean books:
1. MGMAT guides are must have books, especially if the math is not your strongest area. Study 1 chapter a day at leas, roughly
in 2 months, I am sure you will be able to go over all 8 books + do OG tests.
That should lift your score at least 50-60 points.
2. If you are shooting even higher, I would recommend GMAT club tests, and GMAT Club Diagnostic Test. They are perfect tests for those who are shooting above 700.

best time to study is when your mind is fresh - morning.
If you can, switch your job. if not, consider coming home, eating, etc, then taking an hour or so nap and then study. Will be hard to remember much and be very productive after an 8-hour work day. The only thing I was able to do after work (productively) was reading fiction books.
Another option would be to change work schedule.... but I doubt that's possible.
