For anyone who has already taken the GMAT, how many weeks does it take for your GMAT results to arrive at the university you're applying too? In an effort to maximize my study time, I'm attempting to schedule the test as close to the application deadline as possible and still have the results arrive at the school before the deadline.
Is 1.5 weeks sufficient time?
Also, following the test, does the computer give you your results and then you choose the school where you would like them sent too?

You pick the schools first, before the exam.
Some schools get them within a week but it's not guaranteed. However, some schools will take self-reported scores or unofficial scores.

Thanks for your reply. I have picked the single school which I would like to attend. I glean from you reply that if the school accepts unofficial or self-reported schools then I can possibly take the test within 1.5 weeks of applying. If they require an official report than I am guessing I will have to wait for the AWA portion to be graded first which can take a month?
