Earlier, in Nov 2009 I gave GMAT and received a score of 550 (Q44, V23). I was not prepared in this attempt.
Today, I appeared for GMAT and received a very pathetic score of 600 (Q47, V27). This was my second attempt.
I studied consistently and I was scoring more than 680 in Kaplan and Manhattan online exams. In the Kaplan CAT 7 and 8 I scored 710 while in Manhattan CAT 5 and 6 I scored 720.
I was confident that I would be able to tame GMAT this time, but somehow GMAT tamed me.
I feel that the English section was very difficult. At least very difficult from the Kaplan and Manhattan CAT’s.
As I wanted to apply to some European colleges, I really need some advice at this stage.
• Should I appear for another GMAT soon or should I wait, prepare again and then appear? I am too bored or demotivated to start all over again.
• Any anyone recently given GMAT and found GMAT verbal section tough than regular GMAT prep exams?
• Any suggestions are welcome
