I'm in the process of going over my math error log, which consists of Manhattan problems, OG 12 and Quant 2nd ed and I was just wondering if I'm almost perfect in these problems, lets say I perfectly understand 95-98% of these problems, in what range does it at least put me? I guess I'm asking what my bare minimum quant score, or at least what it probably is, 600-650? I was curious because I'm saving my prep tests for my last month and I am about to transition to verbal and I just wanted to know where I probably stand. Thanks.

Hi,

I scored 40/48 in diagnostic test and some advised that I was in range of Q40-41 in quantitative.
On another hand, fully understanding the problem is one thing and solving them correctly is another thing.

One more thing, almost all agree that GMAT is getting much harder and hence the difficulty of OG12 might not be an excellent representative.
I advise you to go through GMAT Club tests.

The most accurate predictor of your actual GMAT performance is the GMATPrep. Make sure that you take the CAT's under the same conditions as you would for the real test.

The OG books are necessary, but probably won't bring you to a 700-level score. There are simply not enough hard questions in those books. But if you're scoring above 90 percent accuracy on the first try with OG Quant questions, then you're in good shape. Once you successfully complete the math problems found in the OG, immediately move on to the GMATClub Tests.

Don't stress yourself over what score you might have right now. Just focus on answering the OG questions and learning from your mistakes.
