Need to pick books. Dilemma.

Okay,

So I finished all 5 MGMAT books for Quant. The material is wonderful. Haven't taken the official gmatprep yet but when I took Kaplan after reading Number Properties, I scored 40 on Quant.

My exam is on October 1st. And I have started studying for Verbal Part but I don't know if I should buy CR Powerscore Bible & LSAT LR Bible. I am targeting 750.

I already own 3 Verbal MGMAT books. A lot of people say that if I started reading Manhattan CR, then I there is no value in reading Powerscore GMAT CR Bible. So should I buy it or not?

Or should I just stick with MGMAT books and get LSAT LR on top?

Any advice is appreciated.

If you already purchased the three Manhattan verbal guides, then stick with those. The Powerscore LR Bible covers the exact same content as the Powerscore CR Bible, as well some additional chapters specifically geared toward the LSAT. If you're determined to use LSAT material, maybe you should consider the SuperPrep book. It's a collection of retired LSAT questions.

A small update. I do own CR Powerscore Bible now. One of my friends who got into Maryland had a free copy.

Do you think I should read it after I am done with three MGMAT's?

I know I have around 1.5 month but I am a slow reader. It took me 2 months to finish the quant books!!! I really can't read for more than 40 minutes because I get distracted.
I wonder how much it will take me to read the Verbal books.

Would recommend you take notes (nobody can read that stuff for longer) - note-taking helps.
If you have covered the MGMAT CR book, the PowerScore CR is not much use.... maybe something to browse and look through questions but won't teach you too many new tricks. Just my 2 cents

If you haven't already started any of the verbal guides, then go ahead with the Powerscore CR Bible. However, if you're already studying with the Manhattan CR guide, save the Powerscore version as a backup; if you're still weak after completing the Manhattan CR, then use Powerscore CR. You could also use the CR Bible for reviewing specific sections, as bb suggested. Don't wait until you finish all three verbal guides to start question practice. Do the recommended questions in the Manhattan books alongside studying. When you finish each book, finish off any remaining OG questions that correspond to that book. Move on to the next guide during this time too. The SuperPrep's main benefit comes from the RC, I think. Once you've finished the verbal questions in the OG books, practice with the SuperPrep.

I have already started CR manhattan, so I will stick to it. And yes, I do go over og questions along with manhattan gmat books.
