Please buy Veritas's geometry guide. This book is good for geometry problems and covers all types!

Right. I see it as an opportunity to get some nice gains rather quickly. I think I am going to push it off until the latter part of my studies. I know if I sit down and try to learn GMAT geometry in the beginning I will get bored and either put off the test as a whole or just move on to another topic. This is not good, I know, but I do know myself and how my attention span works.

mohater you mentioned triangles/circles and gurpreetsingh studying enough for the easy ones. Would either of you care to elaborate more on this area? Get it..."area". yeaaa i know that was a good one.

Dont keep things for the later part of the studies. Start now with the basics.

I told you to at least study enough to tackle easy questions. If you can tackle 700+ questions it will be good. You should not leave the topic that is frequently tested on Gmat. The level of geometry is not high but you have to be fundamentally strong to tackle questions involving multiple concepts.

Take my Harsh words : If you think you are weak in one area and you won't be able to improve just because you will get bored, then Gmat is not your cup of tea.

You should get motivated by my harsh words :)

GMAT is the 'funny' thing. as it's computer adaptive test...if you are weak in some area...say geometry...and if you'll answer geometry-questions wrongly in GMAT then your upcoming questions will be easier ones and although you'll answer those easier ques correctly, you'll not gain much points. So in GMAT,YOU MUST MUST MUST WORK ON WEAK AREAS. there's no other choice and Number Properties, word probs and Geometry are GMAC's favorite topics.

thanks a lot! I think I am motivated. I will start little by little. I will drink many cups of tea full of harsh words as well. I will report back in a month if anyone cares. Good luck to all!
