Hi,
I was told that I am too old (34) to be admitted to b schools such as Berkeley and UCLA. So instead that person recommended me the Hult's 1 Year MBA program, to which I have good chances to be admitted. Got 600 in the GMAT and probably can improve it, the question is whether it is worthwhile when taking to account that the age may be the problem here.
Would like to hear your opinions about Hult's 1-Year MBA program and how it compares to other top-20 b school programs.
My background is a BA in Computer Science and 10 years of work experience, and I will probably want to stay in the same career path (currently I am a Firmware Engineer working for Intel) but to get a management position (project/people) in US. How feasible is it after finishing the 1 Year MBA from Hult?
Backup plan is to find a position similar to what I have now but in US (I have Israeli citizenship only). Is an MBA an advantage for those positions? If yes then should I insist on top-20 or Hult's program will be sufficient?
Thanks,
Guy
