I received 550 Gmat Score (Q46, V21, IR3, AWA6) in the actual exam. I am targeting UCLA & USC part-time MBA starting 2017. However, I am not sure if it makes sense to take a chance and apply to these universities with this score or retake GMAT and wait until next year. Please advise.

Thank you for your post. While the 550 may work for USC, it isn't likely to work for UCLA. Even for USC, it would be a stretch as you fall outside of their middle 80% range. I suggest retaking the exam. How many times have you taken it? Your quant is not bad, but the verbal is quite low.

I would def recommend you take again that V is very low and if you are a non-native english speaker they will have many questions about your english ability. Your Q score is fine but that verbal is dragging it down which will affect the perception of your aptitude when applying to these schools
