These are the classic PT MBA questions. They are best answered on a school by school basis.

1) It is difficult to say whether a PT and a FT MBA are absolutely equivalent. Many schools offer identical degrees in the sense that the degree that you officially receive is same regardless of the format of your classes. However, some people still view FT programs as more "real" than PT programs. Further, regardless of what the diploma says, recruiters can determine which program the job candidate was in.

2) Generally business schools provide more assistance to FT students. There does appear to be a trend toward extending more services to PT students.

3) GMAT scores for PT programs tend to be somewhat lower than for the FT program of a given school. Often the work experience requirements are higher for PT programs.

I am not sure if anyone already asked this question (they must have).

Does the executive MBA program have any drawbacks over a conventional program?
