Engineer's resume for App?

Question

As an engineer i am accustomed to writing a very technical resume where we describe the tools used and the specific (technically related) skills acquired. Now i presume for bschool apps, you want to avoid this, is this correct?

Also for some of my research positions, it is okay if I list only 1 bullet under them as opposed to multiple bullets under the other work experiences? I know I could just not include it on my resume, but I would like to as my work experience is limited.

Any additional thoughts or advice is appreciated.

yea get rid of the jargon. Know thy audience
i think you should absolutely have the research on there. unless its cutting edge i would keep it to a minimum though.

I definitely had to cut a lot of technical jargon out of my resume. I'm thinking about just having a line for technical certifications and clubs in my "other" section. I'm trying to eliminate technical skills from my experience bullet points.

coming from an engineering background myself, it's not so much about cutting back on technical jargon as it is rephrasing it in a way that anyone can understand it. for example, in one of my past internships, i worked with rheometers analyzing fluid viscosities. naturally, this changed to "analyzed fluid flow parameters using specialized equipment" or something along those lines.
