Hello,
This debate has been pounding around in my head these past few months and I can't say I've really resolved it yet. Would like to hear from any re-applicant homeslices out there about what you might have heard or decided on:
Do I keep my older, stronger stories or do I use new, weaker ones to provide "more information"?I've read some pretty mixed opinions about this from MBA essay support sites. From what I've gathered this might differ by school. Ex. I've HBS literally tosses out your old stuff, which makes it easy, you just resubmit your strongest profile.
Where it gets harder are schools like Kellogg or Haas which say they keep your app around and "may refer back to it". This is where the controversy seems to start, some folks saying schools will only go back "if there is cause to", others saying they'll do a comparison between the two.
Any thoughts, strategies, grizzled anaconda scars to share?

Correction on MIT from a recent chat, they apparently DO reference prior materials.
